One of my favorite times of the year is when I get to look back on the past twelve months—reviewing which projects I was able to check off my to-do list and deciding what’s in store for the year ahead. Of the ten projects on last year’s list, I fully completed four and made progress on six others. The last three months of 2025 have flown by just as quickly as the first nine—probably because we’ve been busy with a variety of fun activities. Patriotism was on full display last week at the Veteran’s Day assembly held at Freeman Public Schools. From the Kindergarten class who led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Jr High and High School Patriot Pen and Voice of Democracy winners who read their essays.
