Yet Another New Discovery

In my continuing quest to try new things in my retirement, I added yet another new experience on Saturday, July 22nd -- I went on a bus trip! The Panama Quilt Guild sponsored their annual bus trip that took 52 ladies to five quilt shops. Some in the group had a list of items to look for throughout the day. The awards ceremony took place prior to the monthly meeting and was followed by a lunch and fellowship. Merlyn was drafted and inducted into the United States Army in January of 1951. His first assignment was with the Signal Corps in the telephone platoon in Te Goo, Korea. His next assignment was 80 miles fro
